Teenage Cancer Trust
Royal Albert Hall, SW7

Every year this week of concerts, organised by Roger Daltrey, raises enough money to pay for another specialist cancer unit for young people, and with yet another A-list line-up, this eighth series at the Albert Hall will be no exception.

Noel Gallagher takes a break from bickering with his brother to go it alone for the first two nights, with support from the View (Mon) and a comeback from the Coral (Tue).

There's stand-up from Russell Brand and Noel Fielding on Wednesday, the latest pair to decide that comedy is the new rock 'n' roll.

Then it's back to the music with Gallagher mini-me's Kasabian (Thur) and Britpop regurgitators Kaiser Chiefs (Fri).

Daltrey provides the overall highlight himself by performing with the Who on Saturday, but don't be surprised if he pops up throughout the week to remind you that these shows aren't just about good tunes.
