Gig no-show puts Snoop in Dogg-house

Thousands of hip-hop fans have hit out at rap star Snoop Dogg after his Wembley Arena concerts were scrapped at the last minute today.
The American star was denied entry to the UK, forcing him to cancel a string of dates with fellow rapper P Diddy due to kick off tonight.
Home Office officials refused a visa to the Drop It Like It's Hot star following a brawl at Heathrow Airport and a subsequent police caution for affray last year.
More than 65,000 tickets had been sold for the British leg of his European tour in the hope the Home Office would grant a dispensation. But ticket-holders will have to claim a refund after Snoop was given a firm no.
P Diddy, who was out partying with the Beckhams last night, has also scrapped the shows.
British fans vented their anger on the internet yesterday.
A message left by Emma from London on Snoop's official website reads: "Thanks Snoop! Bought my kids tickets for Christmas. Was the first big concert for them. Visa should have been sorted out before booking dates!"
