Yet another Titanic success for Celine
By Sarah Hills, Metro 05.11.07Singers Celine Dion and Patti LaBelle were honoured at the World Music Awards last night for their outstanding careers.
Dion, who has sold 200million records worldwide, received the organisation's highest accolade - the Legend Award - while tribute was paid to Lady Marmalade singer LaBelle for her enduring contribution to r'n'b.

The duo performed live at the star-studded event, with the Canadian diva singing her new single, Taking Chances, and LaBelle opting for her 1970s disco classic.
Other artists taking to the stage at the ceremony in Monaco included hip hop artist Akon, r'n'b sensation Rihanna and pop singers Mika and Avril Lavigne.
The event, which will be broadcast globally over the coming weeks, was returning to Monte Carlo after three years on the road in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and London.
The principality's Prince Albert II presented some of the awards, including the Legend Award to the Titanic film singer.
Winners are picked based on worldwide album sales, as certified by an industry body comprising 1,400 record companies in 75 countries.
