Healthy looking Winehouse off to jailhouse

Amy Winehouse looked healthier than usual as she left rehab to visit her husband in jail

Look here too

Off to visit her imprisoned husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, at Pentonville, it's fair to say that the recent problems facing Amy Winehouse have not all disappeared.

However, her last week in rehab, forced upon her by her father Mitch after recent images of her openly smoking crack cocaine, seems to have brought a little more colour into her cheeks.

Swapping her usual scowl for a hearty smile for the lenses, Amy was snapped leaving her new rehab home looking healthier and less skeletal than in recent weeks.

But Winehouse may be banned from the Grammys after she was questioned by police in London about crack cocaine.

The singer was interviewed under caution at a clinic in connection with video footage which allegedly showed her smoking the drug.

Winehouse, 24, could be turned away from Los Angeles this weekend by US authorities aware of her past drug use.

Last month footage obtained by the Sun appeared to show Winehouse inhaling fumes from a crack pipe after a 19-minute drugs binge in which she snorted ecstasy and cocaine and admitted to downing six Valium.

The disturbing images were said to have been filmed during a party at Winehouse's east London home, hours before she attended a court hearing for husband Fielder-Civil.

He is awaiting trial on charges of assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

At the time Winehouse's father Mitch told the Sun: "Your video of Amy taking drugs may well be the best thing that has ever happened to her.

"For all the hurt and pain, it may finally be the thing to focus her mind and convince her to get the help she needs to quit for good."

The Back to Black star is now in rehab, admitting herself to the Capio Nightingale clinic in north London on January 24 days after the video appeared.

On February 4 the singer took a break from her treatment to apply for a US visa so she could attend the Grammys in Los Angeles on February 10, where she is nominated for six awards.

The application process will not be simple due to her drugs record. Last October she was arrested and fined in Norway for possession of cannabis.

I think there are many who disagree with J Leno's view of her talent. Her performance on the Russell Brand show was pure genius, her song writing is fabulous, her voice amazing. I am not the only person to feel that way Back to Black was best selling album of 2007. I couldn't care less about her drug addiction, she's not the first and nor will she be the last, but it would be a shame to cut short such a talent due to it.

She looks fab! Well done Amy, keep going!

Looking good girl. Keep going, it's a hard path but when you get to the end it will have all been worth it. I've been there - I know!

What a total waste of Police time. If she was smoking crack and admitted it, the Police would probably offer her a caution (which is a conviction). However, without any additional evidence, there is nothing to say what it was she was smoking. You cannot prove she had a controlled drug, therefore no evidence equals no conviction. By all means deal with her for drug offences, but you need to actually catch her with some first.

Please let her in, it means we won't have to put up with the latest "expose" on her, I wouldn't mind if she had a modicum of talent but she's bland and overexposed.
