Doherty goes solo at Royal Albert Hall gig
12.02.08Pete Doherty is to play the Royal Albert Hall.
The show will be the biggest solo performance of his career so far.
Tickets for the April 26 gig go on sale this Saturday.
The historic London venue has played host to some of the world's greatest performers and is the home of the Proms.
Doherty, 27, is said to be concentrating on his music career after splitting from supermodel Kate Moss and attempting to stay out of trouble with the law.
The Babyshambles star is working on his debut solo album and has played several small shows over the past few months.
He recently offered his support to troubled singer Amy Winehouse but was branded a "scumbag" by her father and warned to stay away.
