It's probably the older hits that will generate the most enthusiasm from the crowd but whether you're a fan or not there's no denying that the award winner's vocal talents are still on top form.

A regular on Tom McRae's Hotel Café tours, Cary Brothers is a pleasure to hear. His songs have featured on several TV programmes and films; Blue Eyes on Garden State being the best known. He will be supporting Keren Ann at Scala and is definitely worth checking out. One of indie rock's hidden gems.
ORQUESTA BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB

Cuban big band Buena Vista Social Club first hit the spotlight in Wim Wenders' film. Their combination of mambo, cha cha cha and boleros is bound to have the Hampton Court Palace fans on their feet. Confirmed players are Guajiro Mirabal(Trumpet), Cachaíto López (Percussion), Manuel Galbán (Guitar), and Aguage Ramos (Trombone).

It's been a great year for American five-piece, Black Kids. Hailed as Ones to Watch by Rolling Stone Magazine and with numerous TV appearances on shows like Jools Holland's Later they have gone from strength to strength in recent months. Their new single Hurricane Jane is released next week so expect this on the setlist.

Jagged Little Pill is the highest selling debut album in music history so seven times Grammy Award winner Alanis Morisette is no stranger to big shows. Recently released Flavours of Engagement will be the main focus of her Brixton date but that's not to say there won't be a couple of classics thrown in for good measure. Always ready to vent her feminine angst, get ready for a good slice of lyrical therapy.
