Description: Baroque Christmas music from The Esterhazy Singers and the Praetorius Brass Quintet Charity Concert to aid the Richard House Children’s Hospice in East London Friday 18th December 2009 The Esterhazy Singers of London under their dynamic conductor Esther Jones will perform some of the finest Baroque Christmas music including works by Gabrielli, Bach and Praetorius in what promises to be one of the more unusual Christmas concerts this year. The galleries of the spectacular Wren-designed church of St Andrew Holborn will be the setting of this specially staged charity Christmas concert of choir, brass and organ on Friday 18th December, 2009. The Esterhazy Singers will be joined by the lively Praetorius Brass Quintet and Kit Perona-Wright (organ). Audience carols and festive readings will complete an uplifting evening with proceeds to the Richard House Children’s Hospice in East London, which supports children with life-threatening diseases. The Esterhazy Singers of London is one of the leading choral ensembles in the City of London. The group regularly performs in some of the most beautiful and historic churches across the capital.
