The Metro Weekender and the last chance to see the Rolling Stones on their Bigger Bang tour, are among the weekend's top gigs.
Metro Weekender
Clapham Common
Two one-day festivals in the same place. Saturday's SW4 features a dream DJ wish list including Sasha, Paul van Dyk, Pete Tong and John Digweed, while Sunday's Get Loaded in the Park is a more varied affair featuring The Streets, Dirty Pretty Things, Dizzee Rascal and M.I.A. (08700 601 801) Sat 25, Sun 26 Aug.
TDK Cross Central
King's Cross Freight Depot, N1
Aimed at festival-goers who like a boogie but don't like getting their feet dirty, this dance-centric weekender is mainly notable for its extensive DJ line-up, though live bands include Archie Bronson Outfit, White Rose Movement, Metronomy and To My Boy. (020 7833 9944). Sat 25, Sun 26 Aug.
The Rolling Stones
O2 Arena, SE10
This is the last chance to see the live favourites on their Bigger Bang tour, which finally draws to a close tonight after two years on the road around the world. This being the Stones, though, there's no need to panic if you can't get in. No doubt they'll be doing it all over again soon enough. (0871 984 0002) 26 Aug.
Norah Jones
Apollo Hammersmith, W6
The supremely mellow songbird closes her European tour with a London show, her first in more than three years. Expect to hear highlights from well-received third album Not Too Late, which saw her ditching her trademark covers in favour of self-penned songs. (0870 400 0700) 27 Aug.
Hot Hot Heat
Koko, NW1
The fast-moving indie scene may have left these jaunty Canadians behind as they gear up to release their third album, Happiness Ltd, next month. But as this Club NME show will prove, they can still put on a great, energetic show. (0870 432 5527) Friday 24 Aug.
