An awesome and ridiculous film that leaves you thrilled beyond the point of your natural endurance

Theatre
The show has suddenly become quite wonderful, and the galvanising factor is the terrific stage debut of Melanie C
Blood Brothers
Music
The British pop music industry may be eating itself but if Muse are the pick of what it can offer the world in 2010 then British music is in rude health indeed
Muse
I was smitten by both Gilberts enormous luxuriant moustache and the intelligence and nuance of this highly entertaining play
I totally recommend Babbo to anyone who is looking for really good and traditional Italian food
Always been a fan but never seen them live. I was ecstatic to be part of this epic event. WOW!

All white on the night: Razorlight's Johnny Borrell
Razorlight release their third album Slipway Fires next month, which means we’ll be seeing a lot more of frontman Johnny Borrell come Christmas.
It’s not news that will fill everyone with good cheer, although with two platinum-selling albums behind them the Anglo-Swedish group certainly have their supporters.
Many of them came to The Forum last night for an exclusive preview of tracks from the forthcoming album at the final night of Q Awards: The Gigs.
Dressed in Austin Powers’ blue jacket and Pete Doherty’s skinny jeans, Borrell looked as ridiculous as ever. Behind him, pianos and amplifiers groaned under the weight of bouquets of roses.
Presumably, this was intended to give a sense of grandeur to the would-be epics aired here. If so, it was all but lost on an audience that seemed to confuse the chime of an unfamiliar chord with the bell for last orders at the bar.
Of the new material, Burberry Blue Eyes and upcoming single Wire To Wire shone. There was nothing to suggest that Borrell has written the song to secure his place in the canon of great British songwriters. He can prove me wrong.
