10 arrested and £1,500 seized in drugs raids

Police have arrested 10 people and charged three after drugs raids.

Officers seized heroin, cannabis and more than £1,500 in cash.

The drive was part of Operation Memor, involving the Met and Westminster council, which is targeting the street drugs trade around Harrow Road and Great Western Road. The operation began after residents and businesses in Westbourne Park raised concerns.

Commander Steve Allen said: "These arrests show our determination to stamp out drug dealing in Westminster."

Two men and a 15-year-old boy have been charged with the supply of class A drugs. Three men, a woman and a 16-year-old boy are in custody and two women have been bailed.
