£400 a year - that's what every family will pay for the EU rebate surrender

Families will be made to fork out £380 a year to the Union by 2013 but will get the equivalent of only £148 back in grants.
This stems from a decision by Tony Blair to give up billions of pounds from Margaret Thatcher's hard-won 1984 rebate.
The decision was taken in 2005 but the consequences are only now being revealed.
According to research by the House of Commons library, the reduction in the rebate means Britain's annual contribution to the EU budget will rise to £10.5billion by 2013.
But only £4.2billion will come back by way of Brussels spending, with much of it spent on regeneration projects in a few targeted parts of the UK.
Overall, by 2013, the net contribution each household makes to the EU - cash effectively handed over to other states - is £232.
Before Mr Blair signed away a large chunk of the rebate, the net contribution was around £70 lower.
The revelations come on the day the EU amendment bill - which ratifies the Treaty of Lisbon - is due to be forced through the Commons.
The Tories say the amendment implements a treaty almost identical to the EU Constitution but without the referendum pledged by all major parties at the last Election.
Tory MP James Clappison, who instigated the research, said the disparity between what the UK contributed and received "is to get even worse".
He added: "At the same time, we are handing over substantial power to Europe through the Treaty of Lisbon."
The Treasury says the EU budget supports "the economic development of the newer member states, which is in our national economic interest".
