Ingrams appeal Millionaire case
By Evening Standard Last updated at 00:00am on 19.05.04The case of convicted TV quiz cheat Major Charles Ingram is back in court today.
Lawyers for Ingram and wife Diana, both 40, from Easterton, Wiltshire, are asking the Court of Appeal for leave to appeal against their convictions for swindling ITV's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? out of its top prize.
They were given 18-month suspended sentences and each fined £15,000 and told to pay £10,000 costs last year.
