Lulu's happy to shout about a little Botox

            Lulu

In 2004, there are hints of laughter lines, but they've disappeared in 2006

As she approaches 60, Lulu could be forgiven for tiring of explaining how she looks so good.

Her secret apparently varies from yoga to clean living, lots of water and facials to even falling for a much younger man.

She is however, indebted to one particular complexion booster.

Like countless celebrities, Lulu, 58, is a self-confessed Botox veteran.

Questioned at a party this week about the treatment, she replied: 'I've done that. Been there, got the T-shirt.'

The Scottish singer said she would not baulk at having plastic surgery if she felt it necessary. Asked whether she would consider an operation to improve her looks she said: 'Of course! Absolutely.'

But she stopped short of saying that she had already tried surgery.

Looking good takes effort at any age. And being in the public eye means she has an added incentive, she explained.

She said she felt under enormous pressure to have great skin. 'I'm obsessed.

'I've always been obsessed because when I was little I wanted my skin to look good,' she said.

'When you're on TV, you have to get it right. I have been to every

skincare specialist.' It remains unclear how frequently Lulu has Botox but she was adamant she 'doesn't do it often'.

Botox treatments cost £300-£400 a time. According to Harley Street cosmetic surgeon Aposotolos Gaitanis, Lulu would probably have such treatments every four to six months to achieve her natural look.

Botox, a laboratory-produced neuro-toxin, is injected in small quantities in the forehead or around the eyes to paralyse the muscles that cause wrinkles. Lulu's career is just as fresh as her complexion. The singer, who was seen on Take That's ITV reunion show last Saturday, said she has signed up to Elton John's management company.

Good on you Lulu! you look fantastic. Pity some of the celebs half your age cant look as good as you even with botox.

Still looking great Lulu; something to shout about.
