Boy, 11, with nut allergy forced to quit school after bullies pelt him with nuts
Last updated at 12:22pm on 28.12.07A boy suffering a nut allergy was forced to quit school after bullies made cruel taunts and then pelted him with nuts.
George Hall-Lambert, 11, was dubbed "nut boy" by cruel schoolchildren and now his parents have taken him out of his school to stop the bullying.
His mother Judith, 37, of Eastrington, near Goole in Yorkshire, said: "George has been seriously bullied with children throwing nuts at him and calling him "nut boy".

"He also had an allergic reaction to latex in the gym during a PE lesson and we brought him home and he was very ill.
"His life has been made intolerable and he now has stress migraines and is on medication.
"It was George's decision to leave, he doesn't feel safe there."
George was originally asked to leave Howden School, East Yorkshire, when teachers discovered he had a severe nut allergy.
He started classes again several weeks later after solicitors intervened when the story made national newspaper headlines.
But George is out of for good after pupils called him "nut boy" and bombarded him with nuts.
The family's solicitor Hayley Garnett said: "George's mother has tried to resolve matters but to no avail.
"George recently had an allergic reaction at school and neither George nor his mother was satisfied with the response from the school.
"Pupils have also been throwing nuts at George as a "joke" but the school has yet to demonstrate effective measures to ensure this will not happen again."

George is now being taught at home and is also taking swimming lessons.
He was diagnosed with a nut allergy at 18 months old and carries an Epipen to inject adrenalin into his thigh should he suffer a sudden allergic reaction. He also has a latex allergy.
He had no problems at primary school but when he transferred into the seniors at Howden School in September, Mrs Hall-Lambert claimed the headteacher asked her to take her son home after just four days as the school had no policies in place to deal with George's nut allergy.
Headteacher Andrew Williams said of the latest development: "I am surprised and disappointed by Mr and Mrs Hall-Lambert's decision to remove George from the school.
"We have worked closely with the family, the local authority and other agencies to put in place a wide range of measures to address George's needs and dispel his parents' anxieties, many of which are beyond those normally considered to deal with allergies or related conditions.
"I feel that George has been making good progress since his return to full-time schooling.
"There has been only a single relatively minor incident involving an allergic reaction to an unspecified substance which did not involve any nut-related products.
"Other issues raised have been dealt with swiftly and in full consultation with the family and other agencies."

When are the teachers at schools going to wake up and no that they control these kids. These monsters are learning very fast that a lot of people are scared of them and they can do as they please. Parents, you're not your kids friends they don't need a friend as old as you.
