I have read many of the messages and It seems people nowadays are quick to have zeal without background knowlegde, wisdom and real historical foundations. Our school systems, government and family have all been hijacked since the 1960s. Even before that people were always kept divided on many issues via instigation of the mass media. The History of Rock Music and Gangsta Rap music is about profits with an idealogical twist.
Those seeds were firmly planted by the manufacturing of public consent. Parental Advisory is like a surgen general heeding the physical damage of a product. In this case the mental damage of a product is in question. This is but one story covered by the media in the back pages. We largely ignore the degeneration of human values by embracing anamosity, hate speech, and hedonism. Communist Russian and Nazi Germany came out of an enlightened era but produced some of the world's most satanicly inspired acts upon humanity. All human institions are curruptable. The founding fathers knew that. Mind Control in this government like all governments has taken place since the begining. People fall victim because they choose to ignore the gravity of complacency and enablement. Music is nuetral but the messages, quotes and teaching of the content spreads like fire in the mind of men. Words are more power than the sword. The youth become victim because we as parents and community fail to become informed and prevent evil and injustice of any form to exist.

I think that the government and all of its little branches going into various meaningless multitudes of subsections and departments blame aspects of the media for causing social disturbances and oddities like the attack in question. They blame them in place of highlighting their own inabilities as the ruling system of the country to deal with any situation in at least a satisfactory and conclusive fashion, and so in turn to save their own skins they unecessarily blame controvertial subjects such as films, games and music including the likes of marilyn manson and slipknot who supposedly plant ideas into peoples heads to do foolish and obsene acts of unimaginable stupidity because of the genre of their music, heavy metal.
Personally I have listened to heavy metal music a long time and never yet have I had the uncontrolable impulse to take a weapon and mercilessly masacre a few people.
The only way that slipknot could have at all given this demented boy any reason to do as he did would be if he was in a severely subjective environment, perhaps with some friends introducing him to the idea and encouraging him to act upon anger.
Clearly if the boy could even consider commiting the act we are here talking about the he must be mentally unhinged
As for the government, who really gives a damb about what they have to say because deep down everyone with a soul knows all they are there for is to vomit a constant stream of endless, mindless, meaningless rubbish!!!

I don't think Slipknot is to blame for what this boy has just committed. But my personnel opinion on this is that maybe the kid had some kind of mental issue or some sort of depression or mental stress, he might have even just been bullied or abused. There is thousands of slipknot fans all over the world, that doesn’t mean that each and every one of them are going to start and human massacre just because they are a fan of Slipknot. Oh yeah one more thing THE KID WAS HIGH ON DRUGS!!! NOT CHOCOLATE BUT DRUGS I don't think any of the Slipknot songs told anyone or intended to tell people to take drugs and kill people.

I listen to music that would be considered to be more "extreme", "violent" and "satanic" than Slipknot, like Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Napalm Death, Cradle Of Filth, The Berzerker, Burzum etc, etc, and I don't feel the need to to go out and kill someone! Slipknot are pussycats compared to some of the bands and music out there. This South African kid is obviously a psycho!

Having seen Slipknot at Reading several years ago, what made me smile was at the end of their set they all said "Bye, thanks for having us take care of each other, it's pretty crazy here".

Not really the antics of a band who would tell people to kill others now is it?
