Children told 'try oral sex'
Evening Standard Last updated at 00:00am on 21.02.03Children are being taught to experiment with oral sex as part of a government-backed drive to cut rates of teenage pregnancy.
Pupils are encouraged to discover "levels of intimacy", instead of full sexual intercourse.
But family campaigners fear that the course, called A Pause, will have the reverse effect by exciting the sexual interests of children.
Robert Whelan, of the Family Education Trust, said he hoped the new Sexual Offences Bill would lead to the course being banned.
But John Rees, for A Pause, said: "There are many ways to manage a relationship - it doesn't have to be about full sex."
