Pop Idol creator Simon Fuller has been hailed the greatest British music manager since The Beatles' Brian Epstein.

The man who steered the Spice Girls and S Club 7 to fame holds the top three positions in the US singles charts with his American Idol 2 artists.

Winner Clay Aiken is top with his version of Flying Without Wings, runner-up Ruben Studdard is second with Bridge Over Troubled Water and losers' group Final 10 are at three with God Bless America.

The last time a British manager had such success was in March 1964, when The Beatles topped the charts with I Want To Hold Your Hand, She Loves You and Please Please Me.

Fuller's company, 19 Entertainment, says he is the most successful British manager ever, having sold more than 10million records and had 96 No.1 singles on both sides of the Atlantic.
