Singer Rachel Stevens has revealed her secret phobia - she is terrified of toilets.

The former S Club star confessed her fears on TV show the Kumars At No 42.

"I have a problem with locking the door. If there is no window in the toilet, then I have a bit of a problem," she said.

Stevens is a guest on the BBC2 show on Monday along with Cutting It star Amanda Holden.

The actress, dressed in a slinky black dress and red knee-high boots, could not resist poking fun at her ex Les Dennis.

She was on the show to discuss her new West End musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, in which she plays a redhead flapper girl.

Bhaskar asked her: "How do you get into the mindset of a ginger?"

Holden replied: "It's really tough but I was married to one, so I know how their minds work."

And there was a further dig at Dennis when granny Kumar, played by Meera Syal, asked her about the oldest person she had ever gone out with.

Holden kept silent - but granny piped up with the sound of the buzzer from Dennis' old show, Family Fortunes
