Wednesday: ceremonial welcome by the Queen, meeting with Lib-Dem and Tory leaders. Procession along The Mall to speech on transatlantic alliance. Visit to memorial to UK victims of September 11. State banquet.
Thursday: Bush lays wreath to Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey. Meets British soldiers who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. Lunch with Tony Blair at No10 before joint press conference, expected to outline exit strategy from Iraq. President and First Lady host a dinner for the Queen.
Friday: Farewell from the Queen. Bush will meet relatives of British war dead, fly with Blair to his Sedgefield, Co Durham, constituency, then have lunch and meet members of the public - and later fly home to Washington.
