Out: Josie is the latest to be evicted

Josie D'Arby last night became the eighth person to be evicted from Back to Reality.

The Games star received the least number of viewer votes along with Maureen Rees from Driving School, but her fate was decided by a round the table vote with the remaining contestants.

The actress, who is reportedly dating Lord Of The Rings star Viggo Mortensen, pleaded with the others: "Don't vote for me, I want Maureen to win."

As he voted for Maureen, former Big Brother winner Craig Phillips said: "The reason why I am voting Josie out is her laugh... just kidding we have had this conversation before and we both want Maureen to win."

Merseybeat star Josie said she was "glad to be going".

"I am stunned I am still here today," she said.

The Gwent-born 30-year-old has had a tough time in the mansion.

As the chief suspect in Nasty Nick's witch-hunt for a mole, she was the subject of much debate among the other reality guests although she did show her obvious delight when her fellow contestants apologised one by one.

She proved herself to be a natural at pole-dancing and has already said she is expecting a call from Peter Stringfellow when she leaves the Channel Five show.

The guests have been in the house since February 14 and the winner will leave on March 5.

Jade Goody, James Hewitt, Craig and Maureen are now left to battle it out to be crowned Britain's top reality TV star, along with a potential prize fund of £75,000 to donate to their favourite charity.
