As she celebrates her £4m Moulin Rouge-themed 21st birthday party - is Freya Dawson Britain's most spoilt little rich girl?

When you've got everything money can buy, what more do you want? Well if you're Freya Dawson, a £4m 21st birthday celebration for a start.

The daughter of British haulage tycoon, Peter Dawson,enjoyed a lavish 'Moulin Rouge' themed party at the family's Cotswolds mansion.

Award-winning DJ Mark Ronson sang 'happy birthday' to the gooey-eyed heiress along with her 500 pals.

Pretty  Freya, 21, a wannabe pop star, made a grand entrance and was lowered in from the ceiling by a metal loop.

One guest said: 'All the girls were thrilled when they saw him come out and he was lucky to get out of there alive.

'Freya was thrilled when Mark sang happy birthday to her, it was her dream come true.'

Dawson, 69, who has a £250m fortune and ranked 319 on the Rich List, hired the enormous marquee for the grounds of his country estate, near Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucester.

He is thought to splash out on anything his daughter wants - whether it be ponies, cars, or designer clothes.

But the tycoon went one step further for her birthday when he funded a purpose-built nightclub, a circus and casino for the bash.

A luxury meal was followed by a breathtaking fireworks display - rumoured to have cost £1million.

The guest added: "I've never known anything like it. The party was the type of thing reserved for royalty.

"The food was first-class, there was plenty of booze and Mark Ronson was great.

'His set was amazing and worth every penny.'

A villager, who did not wish to be named, said party fever had gripped the village for months.

He said: 'The huge plastic circus dome was erected in the months before, it overshadowed the church and you could see it on the horizon.

The fireworks, rumoured to cost £1 million, lit up the whole sky for ages. I wish I'd got an invite.'

Jo Machnica, from local pub the Hollow Bottom, added: 'It's brilliant for the village.

'Mark Ronson's an excellent producer. It's a shame he didn't come into the pub.'

Freya is currently recording an album, thought to be helped by Sir Paul McCartney's sound engineer.

On her Bebo site she writes: 'Currently I am working with a recording artist for the next 6 months to hopefully create my demo album over the summer.

'Then come September I will send my stuff off and hopefully get signed and make my millions!!! It's all very exciting!'

A spokeswoman for Mr Dawson said the family were busy clearing up after the extravaganza.
