Beckham brand set to expand with new chain of nightclubs

The plan is said to be the brainchild of Victoria, who recently launched her new line of denim and accessories in America.

'Her main focus is the Spice Girls' reunion,' said the friend.'But she also wants to extend Brand Beckham in LA and she has great ideas for a club in the city where Hollywood glitterati can unwind without being hassled by the public.'

Although the Beckhams are newcomers to Hollywood, they already count stars such as J-Lo, Tom Cruise and Jennifer Aniston as friends.

While David will have his hands full with his £180m LA Galaxy deal, Victoria 'wants to be a success in America in her own right', said the source. 'That's why she's touring with the Spice Girls and doing a TV show in the States.'

The singer admitted in an interview last week that the couple may make LA their permanent home and she is mapping out her new life with care.

'The club idea is part of what she's calling the two-year plan,' the friend said. 'The first year is all about developing clubs and next year it will be about babies. She and David are desperate to try for another once they are settled.'
