Boy, 3, dies in tragic swimming pool accident

The child, who has not been named, was with his family visiting a house in Bromham, Wiltshire when the accident happened yesterday afternoon.

He was airlifted to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon but was later declared dead.

A Wiltshire police spokesman said the family, who are from Buckinghamshire, were being comforted by specially trained officers.

He added that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

An inquest is expected to be opened by Wiltshire Coroner David Masters.
