A British tourist has plunged to his death from a hotel balcony in Turkey.
The man, named as 22-year-old Adam Thomas from Wales, was holidaying at the four star Litera Deluxe hotel in the Mediterranean seaside resort of Icmeler when the accident happened.
Emergency services raced to the scene and Adam was rushed by ambulance to hospital in Mugla, some 45 minutes from the hotel.
The accident happened on Thursday and Adam's distraught parents flew out to Turkey on Friday to be by their son's bedside.
Adam suffered multiple injuries from the fall and died in the early hours of Saturday morning.
His distraught girlfriend, said to be with him on holiday at the time, said he had been suffering from depression after the loss of several friends who had recently committed suicide.
