Burlington gets raunchy for lingerie

One of London's smartest shopping arcades became a raunchy pole dancing club for the launch of a new range of underwear.

Exotic dancers struttedd on a catwalk at the Burlington Arcade, an enclave off Bond Street which is usually packed with well-heeled shoppers browsing boutiques and antique dealers.

The arcade was taken over to showcase the new Killing Kittens brand of underwear, designed in conjunction with Janet Reger. Hundreds of people - mostly male - squeezed in to watch thelingerie showon one of the coldest nights of the year.

Skinny catwalk models were ditched in favour of girls plucked from lap dancing clubs in London for the event.
