‘Cameron cutie’ Joanne Cash to meet local Tories in bid to end vote row

Ms Cash, one of David Cameron's favourite would-be MPs and a so-called "Cameron cutie", will
seek to unify the Westminster North Conservative Association when she holds a "clear the air" gathering with ward chairmen next week. The meeting is aimed at drawing a line under a row that boiled over this week with Ms Cash's resignation.
Amid extraordinary scenes, she quit in protest after local chairwoman Amanda Sayers was elected to the post of president of the Conservative association.
Following the intervention of Conservative HQ, Mrs Sayers was ousted and Ms Cash withdrew her resignation a day later.
"It looks like the wheels are coming off all over the Westminster Conservative Party. Once again, David Cameron's judgment is called into question," said Westminster North Labour MP Karen Buck.
