Carla Bruni

A spokeswoman has pointed out that Carla Bruni was not cashing in on her State Visit to promote her album as reported in our story of 26 March. That in fact, a limited number of CDs, with information stickers, were sent to news programmes 3 weeks ago.

The purpose of these CDs was purely to ensure that the news programmes had the music and the correct information in light of the renewed interest in Carla and her recording career.

The stickers referenced the date of the visit and provided a short biography and summary about the album. These CDs were not intended for public sale and none are available in any stores.
