Christmas lights up London

London is rightly renowned for its dazzling array of Christmas lights.

This year is no exception with displays in Regent, Oxford, Bond and Carnaby Street, not to mention Covent Garden and numerous store fronts across the city.

Click on the thumbnails to the right to see pictures of a few of the most eye-catching festive decorations.

But perhaps you can do better - if so, email a picture of your favourite Christmas light display, and a sentence telling us where it is, to locallondon@standard.co.uk.

If your picture dazzles, we will publish it on www.standard.co.uk
