Comment: Routes to O2

The O2 is a great arena for rock and pop, to a standard few who knew it as the Millennium Dome would have expected. But it has been let down by the quality of transport provision. Some of the audience have to leave events before the end in order to catch the last Jubilee line train. Now, however, there is to be a 24-hour bus from the venue to south-east London destinations, and an improvement to daytime services. Transport for London deserves some applause.
