The nephew of tragic speed legend Donald Campbell is hoping to set his own land speed record in a car powered by steam.
Don Wales will be the test driver for the British Steam Car team which is building the hi-tech car designed to be a revolutionary vehicle promoting environmentally-friendly technologies.

The team is hoping to break the steam-powered land-speed record of 127mph set by Fred Marriott in his Stanley Steamer in 1906.
The car is being built in Lymington in the New Forest, Hants, and is to be put through its paces at a secret location later this month before the record attempt is held on the Salt Lake in Utah in August.

A team spokeswoman said: "It is the team's intention to victoriously claim the world record first at 150mph and then at a later date, 200mph mark.
"Whilst the obvious goal of this project is to bring another land speed record to Britain, there is a longer-term objective which will have an impact on the future of automobile technology.
"With growing public concern about environmental issues, engineers are looking at viable alternatives to the combustion engine.
"This project couples the wealth of steam knowledge gained from Victorian times onward with some of the most advanced technologies available.
"It promises to be a stepping stone in the direction of the future of transportation technologies and it is hoped that they will influence the next generation of engineers and designers to take an ecological approach to solving problems."

The test drive later this month will be attended by Squadron Leader Andy Green, holder of the first and only supersonic world land speed record of 763.035mph set in 1997, and Don's cousin Gina Campbell, who has achieved numerous water speed records.
Don's grandfather Sir Malcolm held 13 world speed records in the 1920s and 1930s while his son Donald broke eight world speed records in the 1950s and 1960s. However, Donald Campbell died accidentally in his Bluebird speedboat as he attempted to beat his own water speed record in the Lake District in 1967.
