Drogba chase is on

AC Milan and Lyon are both weighing up moves for Didier Drogba if Chelsea agree to sell him next summer.

The two European clubs are the first to publicly declare an interest in the Ivory Coast international, who recently revealed he wanted to leave.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said: "Drogba is one of the best attackers in the world. We must evaluate the season at the end of the campaign and see what is necessary."

However, Chelsea want to keep the striker and have warned him he has two more years to serve on his contract after this season.

Lyon have also spoken of a move for Drogba and are monitoring the mood of his team-mate and close friend Florent Malouda, who left the French club for Chelsea in the summer.
