Eichmann abduction chief calls for Israel to kidnap Iranian 'war criminal' Ahmadinejad

A senior Israeli cabinet minister has suggested kidnapping the Iranian president over threats he has made against the state.
Rafi Eitan was involved in the abduction of Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in Argentina in 1960, and said such operations were not completely a thing of the past.
Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently predicted that Israel would soon disappear.
'War criminal': Mahmoud Ahmadinejad 'has threatened genocide', says Rafi Eitan
He has also quoted the view of the late Iranian spiritual leader, Ayatollah Khomenei, that Israel was a tumour that needed to be erased from history.
Mr Eitan, 81, said Ahmadinejad had threatened genocide and should therefore be taken for trial to The Hague, seat of the international war crimes tribunal.
Asked by the German magazine Der Spiegel if kidnapping was acceptable, Mr Eitan replied: ‘Yes. Any way to bring him for trial in The Hague is a possibility.’
Many Israelis believe Ahmadinejad is the greatest threat to their state’s existence since the Nazis, but others think his anti-Israel outbursts have united the international community against Iran.
