Two members of Portsmouth Football Club's victorious FA Cup squad have had their winners' medals stolen while they stayed at a hotel, the club said today.
Goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown, 27, and defender Glen Johnson, 23, had their medals stolen from a hotel in Windsor, Berkshire, where they were staying after their 1-0 victory against Cardiff City at Wembley on Saturday.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that the medals had been reported stolen today after a burglary at the hotel.

Cup and away: Goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown, left, and defender Glen Johnson had their medals stolen from their hotel room following the FA Cup victory
Former Chelsea star Johnson hopes the FA will make a replica if the medal is not returned.
Johnson said: "I'm devastated, this was the highlight of my career, you can't imagine how much the medal means to me," said Johnson.
"It is something you want to treasure for your whole life and show your kids and grandkids.
"I'm just hoping that if I can't get it back the FA might consider making a replica for me, because it's so soon after the match itself maybe they can see it as exceptional circumstances."
Portsmouth Football Club chief executive Peter Storrie added: "If anyone has taken these medals away they are depriving someone of their lifelong dream."
