Final journey israeli mumbai victims 'were tortured'

A man weeps over the body of Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, killed in the Mumbai attacks, in Tel Aviv today.

The bodies of eight Israelis, who were among 22 foreigners killed, were returned today for burial amid reports that the terrorists tortured their Jewish hostages before killing them.

Five died at the Orthodox Chabad-Lubavitch retreat, where the terrorists held out for three days. Indian doctors were horrified at the injuries to the dead, who included Rabbi Holtzberg and his wife Rivka. Their son, Moshe, aged two, escaped with his nanny.
