Fit-again King eyes a place in Capello's first squad

The Spurs captain made a shock return against Fulham yesterday having been out since June with a knee injury and then a thigh problem.
King came through 73 minutes of Tottenham's 5-1 victory unscathed and is already targeting England's friendly international against Switzerland at Wembley on 6 February.
He said: "February is the aim. It is an exciting time for all England players and I am no different to anyone else - I want to impress the new manager.
"I want to stay healthy and once I have got a number of games under my belt, then I can start to think about it.
"I'm relieved to come through the game unscathed. I'm limping at the moment but that is just because someone trod on my toenail. Overall, I'm fine.
"It was just great to be playing again. It has been over six months since my last game and it has been frustrating.
"But I've been through these injury problems before and I've just tried to remain positive. A lot of people have helped me through - my family, in particular. I always believed I would be back playing to my highest level. It was difficult at times to keep my spirits up but that is what team-mates are for and we all pick each other up at difficult times."
King's progress will be monitored over the next few days to make sure there is no reaction in his knee, but he is expected to play in the home game against Reading or at Aston Villa in the next week.
King is just hoping his injury problems are behind him for good, adding: "I want to stay injury-free, get a whole season under my belt and show what I can do. It always seems as though I am playing with an injury, and my play has suffered as a result.
"It is tough to come back after being out for so long. There's no problem with the knee, but we'll have to decide whether three games in six days is too much."
