Foxy Knoxy 'robbed Meredith to buy drugs on day she was killed,' claims suspect
28 November 2007
Miss Kercher, 21, then searched for her money in Amanda Knox's room, Rudy Hermann Guede, 20, apparently told Italian police.
He reportedly said the British girl was fed-up that 20-year-old Knox - nicknamed Foxy Knoxy - was always doing drugs.

'Thief': Amanda Knox stole from Meredith ercher to buy drugs, a new suspect claims
Guede's claims came as Foxy Knoxy declared her cellmates in prison are "marvellous".
According to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Knox said: "When all this is finished, here is where I want to live."
The paper also said Knox seemed "incredibly serene".
La Stampa reported that Knox refused to discuss the case itself when asked by Osvaldo Napoli, the Forza Italia politician it says visited her yesterday, saying: "The things I have to say I want to say only to the judge. And to my lawyer. I get on well with him. He gives me confidence."
But she did open up about prison life.
She said: "My cellmates are marvellous. And the other prisoners are also very nice with me. We have spent time together; we do a load of things together."
It wasn't always like that, she added: "The first few days I spent in isolation. It was very hard, I couldn't have any relations with anyone.

Suspect: Rudy Hermann Guede told police he saw the knifeman after going to bathroom
"Then they transferred me to a block housing only prisoners that have committed similar crimes of which I am accused.
"My lord, those [early] days were terrible. Nobody said a word to me, I thought I was going mad and I prayed that they would move me. When I arrived here, everything changed. They treat me with great dignity. It's important."
Knox and boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 24, could be freed as early as tomorrow when an Italian judge will rule on whether or not there is enough evidence to keep them in jail.
Sollecito, a student who was dating Knox at the time, is expected to attend the hearing tomorrow, said his lawyer, Marco Brusco. Knox also is expected to appear in court.
Sollecito's lawyers have declared there is not enough evidence to keep their client in jail, according to court papers.
In his version of events up to the murder, Guede is said to have told detectives: "When we went in the house Meredith went to her room and opened a drawer.
"She saw that money was missing.
"She then went into Amanda's room to see if it was there. Meredith moaned that Amanda was always doing drugs."
The Ivorian with joint Italian nationality, who is awaiting extradition from Germany, claims he went to the bathroom from where he heard Meredith's screams.
Victim: Meredith Kercher was found with her throat slit
Guede told police: "By the front door I saw a man. I said: 'What's going on?' I saw he had a knife. He tried to attack me."
He claims he then found Meredith dying in her bedroom at a rented flat in Perugia, Italy, with her throat cut.
Last night crucial new evidence also showed Knox was present at the scene of the crime.
A bloody fingerprint belonging to the American student was found on a tap in the bathroom next to Miss Kercher's bedroom, according to the lead investigator in the case, Giuliano Mignini.
The vital evidence suggested Knox may have been cut in a violent struggle.
Knox has denied being present at the house in Perugia on the night of November 1, when Miss Kercher died after having her throat slit.
Yesterday It was confirmed that there will be no second post-mortem examination on Meredith's body.
The decision, sent by fax to lawyers concerned with the case, clears the way for her body to be buried.
It also emerged that Meredith may have dined with her killers on the night she died.
The first autopsy showed a mushroom had been found in the student's throat. Friends of Meredith have told police that she ate a slice of pizza and a piece of cake - but no mushrooms - at 6pm while watching a video on the night she died.
Francesco Maresca, the lawyer representing Miss Kercher's family, said they were pleased a second autopsy has been ruled out.
Hs said: "I have spoken to the family and they are obviously glad that they will now be able to bury their daughter.
"They had been hoping that there would be no need for a second examination on the body and will now move on to planning the funeral."
Lawyers and experts spent 10 hours over two days discussing whether results from the initial post-mortem examination were sufficient to accurately establish the time and cause of Miss Kercher's death.
