Gallas: My agony at missing out

The Gunners captain has been on the sidelines for more than five weeks with a groin problem - his second serious injury in 13 months.
Gallas watched from the stands again last night as an Arsenal side showing eight changes from the weekend, and with no players over 24, outclassed Newcastle in a 2-0 win to surge into the last 16 of the Carling Cup.
"This is a difficult time for me," Gallas said. "I'm very sad that I'm still injured and I have to be strong in my head.
"This is my second injury I have had at Arsenal and sometimes you want to know why it is happening.
"I don't want to cry about it but when you work hard, and you feel the pain, it's difficult to accept.
Manager Arsene Wenger said last week that he hoped Gallas would return for Saturday's trip to West Ham, but the French defender ruled out that possibility.
He said: "I will be back but I don't know when. I don't want to set a target. We are top of the table, though, and playing well so I want to be part of it."
Arsenal go to West Ham on the back of a outstanding sequence of nine wins and a draw in their 10 games this season.
But Gallas said: "I will remind everyone how tough it is there. They beat us 1-0 at Upton Park last season."
Nicklas Bendtner scored his first goal for the club against Newcastle but the 19-year-old Dane expects to make way for Emmanuel Adebayor in the starting line-up at West Ham.
"We all want to play all the games but we have a strong squad at the moment," he said. "Adebayor did really well against Derby.
"I am going to hope for my chance. Anything can happen. If I'm involved, great. If not, I'll keep working hard."
