Girl, 15, on 'honeytrap' murder charge

A 15-year-old girl has been charged with the murder of a south London teenager after he was allegedly lured to his death in a "honeytrap".

The girl is one of four teenagers charged with the murder of Shakilus Townsend after he was attacked by a masked gang in south London.

The teenager from Brockley, and three others, two boys aged 16 and 17, and 18-year-old Tyrell Ellis, will appear before Sutton magistrates' court today charged with his murder.

Shakilus, 16, from Deptford, was allegedly lured to a secluded spot in Thornton Heath, where he was set upon by hoodie-wearing youths. He was found bleeding to death outside a block of flats, calling for his mother. He had been stabbed at least four times.
