Horrified jury watches CCTV shooting that left five-year-old Thusha paralysed

The horrific moment a five-year-old girl was gunned down as she played in her uncle's shop was captured and played to a stunned Old Bailey courtroom today.
CCTV footage revealed the minutes before Thusha Kamaleswaran was shot in the chest as she played beside her parents in the aisle of the
Stockwell shop.
Her mother Sharmila Kamaleswaran broke down in tears and was comforted by the schoolgirl's father Jeyakumar Ghanasekaram as they watched their daughter skipping and dancing in the shop just moments before she lay face-down on the floor, wearing her school uniform.
The clear footage also showed the second victim, Roshan Selvakumar, 35, who was chatting to the shop owner , being shot in the face before retreating down one of the aisles, with blood pouring from his head.
Jurors watched in horror as Thusha was scooped up into the arms of either a friend or relative in the shop, just after she was shot, and rushed to safety at the back of the shop.
Just before the shots were fired, the footage captured the suspected intended victim of the shooting, Roshaun Bryan, along with another man Christopher Munsaka running into the premises.
They were both seen throwing bottles at the door at their attackers before running to the back of the shop and hiding behind shelves for cover. At that moment Mr Selvakumar was shot in the face and seconds later Thusha was hit.
Earlier the court was told by prosecuting QC Edward Brown that the bullet passed through Thusha's body and was later found in the storeroom of Stockwell Food and Wine.
Her life was saved by paramedics who operated on her in the street and surgeons who resuscitated her as she suffered a heart attack during emergency surgery in hospital.
But Thusha was left permanently paralysed from the waist down and will never walk again after the shooting on the evening of March 29 last year.
Nathaniel Grant, 21, and Anthony McCalla and Kazeem Kolawole, both 19, are accused over the shooting. Grant is accused of pulling the trigger.
The three defendants, all from south London, are suspected of being gang members who wanted to kill rival Mr Bryan in the latest episode of a violent feud.
They deny attempting to murder Mr Bryan, causing grievous bodily harm and firearms offences.
The trial continues.
