Jamie Oliver has been told to improve hygiene standards at one of his flagship restaurants.
Environmental health officers made the recommendations after finding dirty kitchen floors, soiled tea towels in the lavatory and staff basins without soap at fashionable North London diner Fifteen.
A meal at the split-level trattoria and dining room – which opened six years ago to train disadvantaged youngsters as top chefs – costs about £60.

A spokesman for Oliver said: ‘We take health and safety matters very seriously and the manager, Margaret McCombe, said she never received the report. We just received a glowing review.’
But Hackney Council, which carried out the checks, said its inspectors had left an ‘advisory note’ at the end of their visit.
A spokesman added: ‘This was not an official notice. It was an advisory note outlining recommendations. Overall the standard of cleanliness at Fifteen has been impressive when inspected.’
The restaurant is rated four out of five on the local authority’s food hygiene scale.
