A dog belonging to Queen of Mean Leona Helmsley has had its inheritance slashed by £5million.
The notoriously ill-tempered New York property billionaire died aged 87 last year, leaving £6million to her toy Maltese terrier, Trouble.
However, the will was contested by two of Mrs Helmsley's grandchildren who had been excluded from it 'for reasons known to them'.
Leona Helmsley with her dog Trouble. The pooch has had its inheritance slashed by £5 million after two of the late billionaire's grandchildren contested her will
They claimed their grandmother was not of sound mind when she made the will, two years before her death from heart failure.
Now a court has reduced Trouble's trust fund to £1million, awarding the grandchildren - Craig Panzirer, 40, and Meegan Panzirer Wesolko, 37 - £2million and £1million respectively.
The remainder of the money will go to Mrs Helmsley's charitable foundation, according to the New York Post.
Trouble, a nine-year-old bitch who lives in Florida with one of Mrs Helmsley's former employees, will still have an annual allowance of £95,000, including £50,000 for security.
