Like mother, like daughter ... cover girl Pixie follows Paula 26 years on

More than a quarter of a century after Paula Yates graced the magazine's cover in September 1982, Pixie has done the same at the age of just 17.
Like her mother, she is even sporting a blonde peroxide crop. Previously Pixie has tended to be photographed in her natural, brunette state.
The appearance of Pixie on the front cover of the society magazine - wearing a faux red sailor's cap and striped mini-skirt and giving a military salute - is quite a coup for the teenager, especially since it calls her "the coolest girl in town" in large red letters on the front.
Yates had to wait until the grand old age of 23 before Tatler decided to bestow upon her cover girl status.
By then, she had already spent six years with Bob Geldof, the Boomtown Rat lead singer and father of their three daughters. But she left Geldof for Australian rock star Michael Hutchence, who died in 1997. Three years later, at the age of 41, Yates was to die of a heroin overdose at her home in London.
Pixie's emergence on the London scene has been rapid for someone still at school. Last year, she was reportedly suspended from the private Alleyn's School in Dulwich days before taking her GCSEs after being caught smoking and drinking.
Now she has turned 17, she does her drinking at London's more fashionable clubs.
She has recently been pictured with Kimberley Stewart, the daughter of rock star Rod, and Kelly Osbourne, Ozzy's daughter.
Her socialising threatens to put her older party- going sister Peaches in the shade.
Last night, Peaches, 19, who has presented TV programmes and written columns for several newspapers, was spotted in Soho's Jazz After Dark Club performing as a DJ alongside singer Pete Doherty, who during the evening bought a painting of his ex-girlfriend the supermodel Kate Moss for £5,000.
Wearing a white blouse, black jacket and black painted finger nails, Peaches was pictured out in Soho in the early hours of this morning in sharp contrast to her increasingly glamorous younger sister.
