But the winner has yet to come forward to claim the £18,992,109 prize from Saturday night's draw.
"We have the champagne on ice, but nobody has come forward as yet," a spokesman for Camelot said.
"If someone has the winning ticket please give us a call, though we won't be able to validate the winning ticket until Monday."
In the run-up to the draw - only the fourth triple rollover jackpot in the game's 13-year history - Camelot had been expecting three million ticket sales per hour.
The winning numbers drawn were 13, 43, 02, 06, 38 and 01. The bonus number was 24.
The first Lotto triple rollover was in May 2004 when six ticket holders each won 3.7 million pounds.
The second saw Irene and Ronald Jones from the West Midlands and a syndicate of 14 postal workers share 18.7 million pounds in October 2006.
The last triple rollover was in November when two tickets each won 8.8 million pounds.
The previous biggest non-rollover lottery win in Britain went to Paul Maddison and Mark Gardiner in June 1995 when they scooped 22.5 million pounds on the Lotto game.
Angela Kelly became Britain's biggest lottery winner in August 2007 when she scooped a 35 million pound EuroMillions jackpot.
On Friday one lucky ticket holder from Spain won 56 million pounds in the EuroMillions draw.
A total of 16 ticketholders matched five numbers and the bonus ball to win £143,051 each and 693 matched five to win £2,064.
Some 44,487 people won £70 for matching four numbers and 894,707 matched three for a £10 prize.
