Madeira flood victims 'swept out to sea'

Rescue teams in Madeira are looking for 32 people still missing four days after the weekend floods and landslides.

Sniffer dogs are checking piles of debris and submerged underground car parks, but it is feared the missing may have been swept out to sea when water poured down the island's slopes. Navy divers and bulldozers helped in search operations today.

Portugal is observing three days of mourning for the floods, which killed at least 42 people.
