Make-up artist killing: Husband appears in court charged with murder

The husband of award-winning TV make-up artist Diane Chenery-Wickens appeared in court yesterday charged with her murder.
David Chenery-Wickens, 51, from Duddleswell, East Sussex, spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth during the brief hearing at Hastings Magistrates' Court.
Magistrate Mary Gordon committed the case to Lewes Crown Court on August 22.
Chenery-Wickens was remanded in custody.
Mrs Chenery-Wickens, 48, had been missing for four months before her remains were found by a woman walking her dog in Little Horsted, East Sussex, on Thursday.
Dental records were used to identify her body. The cause of death is yet to be established.
Mrs Chenery-Wickens worked on shows including Dead Ringers, The League Of Gentlemen and Casualty.
She won an Emmy award in 2000 and was nominated in 2003 for a Bafta.
