Nicky Reilly has been charged in connection the explosion at an Exeter restaurant
A man injured when a bomb exploded in his face at a restaurant was last night charged with planning terrorist acts.
Nicky Reilly, 22, was further accused of two offences of possessing explosives.
He was wounded when the device exploded at the Giraffe Cafe in an Exeter shopping mall 13 days ago and was arrested at the scene.
Two other men have been held in connection with the blast and are still being questioned.
A senior Devon and Cornwall detective said last night: 'Although one man has now been charged, this remains a complex, live investigation.
'We are therefore keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the man arrested at the scene of the explosion, or others they believe may be involved in any capacity.'
Reilly, from Plymouth, is due to appear at a secure court in London.
Police would not confirm the time and and date of the appearance. The charges were authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service's counter-terrorism division.
