Scarlett Keeling, 15, was found on the beach at Anjuna, Goa, on February 19, dead and semi-naked.
The teenager, from north Devon, was on holiday there with her family, who were travelling elsewhere in the region when she was killed.

Fiona MacKeown (right) believes British forensics will shed more light on her daughter Scarlett Keeling's death
Her mother Fiona MacKeown, 43, said today she would be flying from Mumbai to Heathrow on Monday on the same flight as Scarlett's coffin.
Once Scarlett's body was back in Britain she would arrange her own forensic examination.
"I am not happy with the forensics here. I want to know how many men raped her," she said.
"I am pretty certain she was attacked by more than one person."
The funeral of Scarlett could be held within the next three weeks, her mother said today.
Ms MacKeown said she still wanted to bury her daughter on her land near Bideford in north Devon.

Ms McKeown could not contain her grief as she began her journey back to the UK
"It will take some time to organise the funeral, and find out whether there are any restrictions or not," she said.
Ms MacKeown said once her daughter is buried she wanted to return to Goa.
"I am going to come back here until this is finished," she said.
She did not know whether her visa would be stopped, adding: "I will do my best to get over here, or carry on the fight from England."
Scarlett's death is to be examined by a member of the Indian National Commission for Women, Ms MacKeown's lawyer Vikram Varma said.
The New Delhi-based organisation deals with issues including rape, and promotes and protects the interests of women in India.

Tragic: Scarlett's body is being flown back to the UK
Ms MacKeown has made allegations that links between police officials, politicians and the drugs mafia were continuing to hamper a proper investigation into her daughter's death.
Mr Varma said today that the Commission had taken up the case and a member would be meeting Ms MacKeown and the police.
If the Commission member saw that the state had "faltered," a case would be filed, he said.
Over the past few days Ms MacKeown had been "moving her location" because of fears for her safety in the wake of her allegations.
She said today armed police and plain clothes officers had been provided for her protection.
Ms MacKeown has claimed she was vulnerable because of her accusations against top local officials and the impact the publicity was having on tourism.
Police in Goa have said Scarlett was given Ecstasy, cocaine and LSD on the night she died.
Already in custody in connection with Scarlett's death is Placido Carvalho, aged between 30 and 35, who has appeared in court on suspicion of drugging the girl and assisting in the murder by that act.
The first man arrested by local police, Samson D'Souza, 28, was remanded in custody on suspicion of rape.
Police in Goa initially said Scarlett's death was an accidental drowning.
But a murder investigation was launched after a second post-mortem examination - carried out following pressure from Ms MacKeown - showed she had been attacked.
A recent pathologist's report said Scarlett was killed by drowning after her head was pushed under water for between five and 10 minutes.
Mr Varma has said the report concluded Scarlett died of "homicidal drowning" and not of a drug or alcohol overdose.
