Alfred Lockhart, known as Alfie by friends, was with his son Alan when he suffered a head wound during an argument with a third man at a business park.
He was taken to hospital and was able to give police a description of the other man in the incident on Friday afternoon, before he died at midnight.

Police later arrested a 50-year-old man, believed to be the owner of a haulage firm at Lister Mills Business Park at Plympton, Devon. He was still being quizzed yesterday.
A Devon and Cornwall police source said: 'We have started a murder inquiry.
'A postmortem will be crucial to discover whether the man was murdered or whether something else following the alleged assault led to his death.'
'He was 93 so it may be he died from natural causes or the case will be manslaughter rather than murder.'
Chief Superintendent Jim Webster said: 'It appears it was a simple argument about a parking space.'
He added the pensioner and his son had parked outside a discount superstore selling household goods.
Mr Webster said: 'There's no indication at this stage that he was punched. The argument ended up with the victim falling to the floor.'
