Only 21% want Labour to stay in power

Fifty-four per cent are demanding a change of government while only one in five is certain Labour should stay in office beyond 2010.
The survey will make difficult reading for Gordon Brown, who is all but certain to take over from Tony Blair as Prime Minister within weeks.
The ICM survey for The Guardian found only 21 per cent of voters think Labour should remain in office beyond this parliament.
More than a quarter of those who voted Labour in 2005 have switched to the Conservatives or Lib Dems.
The poll also found a continuing decline in support for Labour and a slump for the Tories - putting pressure on the two main parties ahead of next month's Scottish, Welsh and English local elections.
Month-on-month, Labour's rating has fallen by one percentage point to 30 per cent, while backing for David Cameron's party has also dropped - by four points to 37 per cent.
The Lib Dems have seen their popularity surge by three points to 21 per cent and other smaller parties have climbed to take a total of 12 per cent. The poll of 1,005 adults was carried out over last weekend.
Tony Blair has ruled out a referendum on a new EU Constitution for fear he would lose, it emerged last night. He has been warned by ministers that even a slimmed-down blueprint would be thrown out in a public vote.
Mr Blair faces being left on the sidelines as EU leaders draw up plans for powers to be handed to Brussels.
European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso plans an informal session next month with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the next French president - but Mr Blair will be excluded.
