A schoolgirl caused motorway mayhem by playing a game of 'chicken' with speeding cars - while a friend filmed the madness on a mobile phone.
The pictures later turned up on YouTube with comments encouraging the girl to do the stunt again.
Police were examining the images filmed on a fast stretch of the M4 in South Wales.

South Wales Police condemned the teenagers saying they were risking their own lives - and the lives of innocent motorists.
Inspector Huw Griffiths added: 'Inappropriate behaviour on the motorway is extremely dangerous, not only for the perpetrator but for other road users as well.
'This is a very unusual incident and we will be liaising with the Crown Prosecution Service to consider any criminal charges.'
Port Talbot Councillor Andrew Tutton called on YouTube to police their site better.
He said: 'Some type of censorship needs to be put in place - it's encouraging children to have their 15 minutes of fame.
'They don't realise the dangers of what they're doing, they could easily have caused a pile-up.'
YouTube said it is constantly monitoring the content of its site.
Despite her actions being condemned by police, the teenager appears to have escaped unscathed
A spokesman said: 'We have clear policies that prohibit inappropriate content on the site.
'When users feel content is inappropriate they can flag it and our staff then review it as quickly as possible to see if it violates our terms of use.
'If users repeatedly break these rules we disable their accounts.'
